Mary wants Jesus to help but he doesn't do miracles cheaply, so Mary encourages the servants to show faith.
The servant at the back is following Jesus' instructions, filling jars with water; the servant girl has brought a glass of wine to the M.C. Knowing what has taken place she is walking on air, but he is not aware.
